Where is Union Tuscaloosa?

Union Tuscaloosa is conveniently located steps away from Saban Field at Bryant‑Denny Stadium and just 0.5 miles from the campus of The University of Alabama. As University of Alabama student apartments, our location offers exceptional accessibility to the Strip and Sorority Row.

Does Union Tuscaloosa offer short-term leases?

Union Tuscaloosa does not offer short-term leases, as our leases are for a 12-month term. The lease begins runs from August 15th, 2025-July 31st, 2026, and the rent amount is split into 12 equal installments. For those looking for short-term leases, we offer a lease takeover option. A lease takeover is when you "takeover" a resident's lease for the remaining term of their lease, if one comes available. For more information about this process and the details, please contact our Leasing Office. 

When is move-in day?

Move-in day is scheduled for August 15th, 2025! More information regarding check-in times, required documentation and more, will be sent out closer to the date. We are so excited for move-in day 2025 and if you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Leasing Office for assistance! 

What floorplans are offered at Union Tuscaloosa?

Here at Union Tuscaloosa, we offer a wide array of floorplans to fit your needs! Randing from studios, 1-bedrooms, 2-bedrooms, 4-bedrooms and 5-bedrooms, we have them all. We also have floorplans that have balconies overlooking the stadium, our pool area or "The Strip". All floorplans have their own private bathrooms and closets attached to the rooms as well! 

Is Union Tuscaloosa pet-friendly?

Yes! We are a pet-friendly property and love seeing furry friends around! Please keep in mind, there are weight and breed restrictions that may apply as well as a required pet deposit and pet fee. Call or visit our leasing office, for more information about our pet policy, including specific requirements and any restrictions. We are happy to answer any questions about pet's, to make your move-in process as smooth as possible. 

Is parking included?

Parking is not included in the rental amount, listed on your lease but can be added as an additional amenity. Our parking garage is attached to our property, and we have four total levels within our parking garage. General parking is $75/month and Reserved parking is $100/month. General parking means, you are guaranteed a parking space but not a specific parking spot. Reserved parking means, you are guaranteed a specific parking spot that is designated to and for you. 

How do utilities work/are billed?

At Union Tuscaloosa, internet, trash and pest control is included in your lease! Additional utilities are, water and electricity, which is due along with rent and parking. Both electricity and water are monitored and billed through our third-party vendor, Conservice. They monitor utility usage throughout your unit and bill you directly on your Resident Portal, which is the same portal you use to pay your rent and parking. You do not have to set up anything for utilities, because we do it for you! Once rent comes out on the 1st of every month, log into your Resident Portal to see and pay your utilities, parking and rent! 

How can I renew my lease?

Renewing your lease can be a very short and easy process! Around September of October, is when our renewal season begins. We will send out renewal offers to all current residents with their renewal rate. Once you review your renewal offer, you must accept it in order for us to send over your lease. Once the lease is sent, review it and sign! Please keep in mind, that your renewal is not complete until after you sign your renewal lease. What type of furniture is included?

At Union Tuscaloosa, all of our floorplans come fully furnished with an in-unit washer and dryer! Our 1x1, 2x2, 4x4 and 5x5 floorplans, includes a couch, console table, coffee table and barstools. In each bedroom, there is a Full XL bed frame and mattress, dresser drawers (4), desk and desk chair! Our Sx1 floorplans come with a Full XL bed frame and mattress, dresser drawers (4), desk with an additional (2) dresser drawers and desk chair.
